Bespoke Aluminium Gates: From Measurement to Installation

Bespoke does not have to mean complicated or slow. Because we fabricate and coat in-house, most gates follow the same clear path from enquiry to install.
1. Measurements and survey
We start with the opening width between fixed points, the fall of the ground, and what the gate has to fix to. On automated jobs we also look at power, ducting routes and where the motors and safety devices will sit.
2. Design and collection
You choose a collection and infill — vertical slat, horizontal slat, laser-cut panel or a mix — plus the RAL colour. We adapt the proportions to your opening rather than forcing a stock size, and we match pedestrian gates and fence panels into the same family.
3. Fabrication and powder coating
- Marine-grade aluminium profiles cut and welded to your exact sizes.
- Frames dressed, prepared and pre-treated.
- Powder coated in the chosen RAL, matt or satin.
- Hardware, hinges and automation brackets fitted before delivery.
4. Installation and handover
Our own fitters set the posts, hang and align the gate, install and commission any automation, then hand over the release keys, remotes and maintenance advice. Most domestic installs are completed in a single day.
Frequently asked questions
- How long from order to installation?
- Typically a few weeks from approved measurements, depending on the collection, finish and whether automation is included. We confirm the date in writing with the quote.
- Can you copy a design I have seen?
- In most cases yes — send us a photo with your measurements and we will tell you what we can build and how it will differ.
- Do you make matching fencing?
- Yes. Matching aluminium fence panels, railings, pedestrian gates and bin screens are made in the same profile and colour.
